Come Pray with Us

Welcome to our Prayer blog. We invite you to pray with us. This is our joint prayer space. We miss our communal prayer groups and our worship services. We come together to pray for thanksgivings and for help in these difficult times. We are doing things differently, and we are learning to think differently to remain healthy and safe.

God is our strength. Our prayers align us to His peace, love and mercy. He takes the unknown and confusion out of the present and future. Our hope in Him and our growing prayer relationship with Him will offer great comfort and peace to each of us.

Lord be our Guide.

Let us Pray.

You are God Te Deum laudamus

You are God: we praise you; You are the Lord; we acclaim you; You are the eternal Father: All creation worships you. To you all angels, all the powers of heaven, Cherubim and Seraphim, sing in endless praise: Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might, heaven and earth are full of your glory. The glorious company of apostles praise you. The noble fellowship of prophets praise you. The white-robed army of martyrs praise you. Throughout the world the holy Church acclaims you; Father, of majesty unbounded, your true and only Son, Worthy of all worship ,and the Holy Spirit, advocate and guide.

Morning Prayer

For the Parish Almighty and everliving God, ruler of all things in heaven and earth, hear our prayers for this parish family. Strengthen the faithful, arouse the careless, and restore the penitent. Grant us all things necessary for our common life, and bring us all to be of one heart and mind within your holy Church; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

For Our Country

Almighty God, who hast given us this good land for our heritage: We humbly beseech thee that we may always prove ourselves a people mindful of thy favor and glad to do thy will. Bless our land with honorable industry, sound learning, and pure manners. Save us from violence, discord, and confusion; from pride and arrogance, and from every evil way. Defend our liberties, and fashion into one united people the multitudes brought hither out of many kindreds and tongues. Endue with the spirit of wisdom those to whom in thy Name we entrust the authority of government, that there may be justice and peace at home, and that, through obedience to thy law, we may show forth thy praise among the nations of the earth. In the time of prosperity, fill our hearts with thankfulness, and in the day of trouble, suffer not our trust in thee to fail; all which we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

For the Healing

High and Lofty One, because Your mercy is everlasting and Your truth endures from generation to generation, show mercy to Your child and grant her deliverance from this sickness. Lord, keep her under Your care, for only in You can we live in safety and wellbeing. Visit her with Your saving health. Do not forget Your daughter, who is needy, nor let her hope be taken away. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord, we pray, Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
